abstract = "This paper presents a solution for the pre-processing, feature
extraction and the first level of classification applied to an
Optical Music Recognition system (OMR). The attributes used for
classification are extracted form a thinned and vectorized image
of the partitur. Critical points and its supporting neigbourhood
are matched and clustered together to identify candidate simbols.
Results of some experiments are reported.",
